Typology

There are many different principles of how to construct ventilated double skin facades. These can be classified according to three different criteria which are independent of one another and are based not only on the geometric characteristics of the façade but also on its mode of working.

The criteria are:
• Type of ventilation
• Partitioning of the façade
• Ventilation mode of the cavity
